About the role
Join a long-term public sector initiative supporting the operations, administration, and continuous enhancement of a secure Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platform hosted on AWS. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about AWS cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps best practices. You will play a key role in ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and compliance while driving continuous improvements across the cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native backend infrastructure on AWS
- Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation templates, AWS Lambda, and automation frameworks
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes
- Administer AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
- Configure and maintain cloud networking services, including VPCs, routing, security controls, load balancers, DNS, and connectivity services
- Implement infrastructure hardening and security controls in accordance with security and compliance requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, and deployment-related issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform operations and continuous improvement initiatives
- Enhance platform reliability, security posture, and operational effectiveness through automation and best practices
About you
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience implementing, managing, and administering AWS cloud environments
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with DevOps and/or DevSecOps pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and CI/CD tools is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
- Experience with CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used for infrastructure automation and backend development
- Familiarity with integration middleware platforms, IT operational processes, or Operations Monitoring (OpsMon) tools will be advantageous
- Understanding of cloud security principles, infrastructure hardening, and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
