About the role

Join a long-term public sector initiative supporting the operations, administration, and continuous enhancement of a secure Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) platform hosted on AWS. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about AWS cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and DevOps/DevSecOps best practices. You will play a key role in ensuring platform availability, performance, security, and compliance while driving continuous improvements across the cloud environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain secure cloud-native backend infrastructure on AWS
  • Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using CloudFormation templates, AWS Lambda, and automation frameworks
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes
  • Administer AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Configure and maintain cloud networking services, including VPCs, routing, security controls, load balancers, DNS, and connectivity services
  • Implement infrastructure hardening and security controls in accordance with security and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, platform, and deployment-related issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support platform operations and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Enhance platform reliability, security posture, and operational effectiveness through automation and best practices

About you

  • 2–3 years of hands-on experience implementing, managing, and administering AWS cloud environments
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience working with DevOps and/or DevSecOps pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and CI/CD tools is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
  • Experience with CloudFormation, AWS Lambda, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages used for infrastructure automation and backend development
  • Familiarity with integration middleware platforms, IT operational processes, or Operations Monitoring (OpsMon) tools will be advantageous
  • Understanding of cloud security principles, infrastructure hardening, and compliance requirements
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
