Private Cloud, PaaS, Ansible, Jenkins, AIOps

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to build and operate a secure, automated private cloud and PaaS environment for one of our sizeable financial in-house firms.

Your new role

• Design, implement, and maintain private cloud infrastructure and PaaS services together with vendors and internal technical teams.
• Ensure cloud services meet organisational security, compliance, scalability, availability, and resilience requirements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, and other IaC/CaC tools.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to standardise application deployment.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerised workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support database services, object storage, Linux systems, and cloud-native platform components.
• Apply secure-by-design practices across platform architecture, access control, networking, and configuration management.
  
  

What you'll need to succeed

• 4+ years of experience in private cloud, PaaS, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Experience managing workloads in hybrid or private cloud environments.
• Strong practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, MySQL, PostgreSQL, S3-compatible storage, and Linux.
• Familiarity with AIOps and MaaS management.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance requirements, and secure-by-design principles.
• Excellent English and Chinese communication skills; fluency in Mandarin is required.
