Summary
The Cloud Engineer role is primarily focused on delivering successful cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and focusing on Infrastructure as Code, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring seamless migration and deployment of applications.
Main Responsibilities:
Core duties include partnering with clients to manage cloud solution implementations and proposing GCP architectures.
Partner with customers to manage and deliver cloud solution implementations.
Propose and deploy GCP solution architectures, emphasizing Python automation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to design and manage secure applications on GCP.
Develop migration strategies for legacy applications to scalable architectures on GKE.
Guide customers in utilizing container technologies and writing automation scripts.
Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Networking, and Virtual Machine Migration.
Solid practical experience in software development and debugging with Python.
Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE).
Understanding of Cloud Networking principles, including VPCs and network security.
Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
Track record in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform.
Other Details:
Location: Riyadh - Hybrid Role.
Contract duration is 12 months, extendable.
Required tools and methodologies include GCP, Infrastructure as Code, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes.
