JOB SUMMARY

Lone Star National Bank is seeking a highly motivated Cloud Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and optimization of the Bank's cloud, hybrid, and integration platforms. This role supports the Bank's digital transformation initiatives by ensuring cloud services, data platforms, APIs, and infrastructure services are secure, resilient, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

The Cloud Engineer will work closely with Infrastructure, Network Engineers, Information Security, Application Support, Data, and Business teams to deliver modern cloud solutions that support critical banking applications, cybersecurity initiatives, enterprise integrations, analytics platforms, AI initiatives, and operational efficiencies. This position will support technologies including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Integration Services, API Management, Azure AI Services, and future cloud and data platform technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, Implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies that improve operational efficiency, security, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain cloud security controls including identity and access management, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Ensure cloud environments comply with FFIEC, PCI DSS, NIST, FDIC, and internal security requirements.
  • Support audits and regulatory examinations related to cloud technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and cloud service issues.
  • Participate in after-hours support and critical incident escalations as required.
  • Define API governance standards, authentication models, security controls, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure all integrations are designed using reusable, maintainable, and standards-based approaches.
  • Establish standards for data structures, metadata management, data quality, lineage, and governance.
  • Ensure cloud platforms are architected to support future use cases including Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI Services, Copilot technologies, and advanced analytics.
