Cloud Engineer (m/f)

IT House is recruiting a Cloud Engineer for a client in the logistics sector, based in Lisbon.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design solutions for client-facing applications being migrated to cloud environments (AWS);
- Design and build tools and frameworks that support platform deployment and management;
- Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process enhancements;
- Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup, and restore across different environments;
- Ensure critical system security through best-in-class cloud security solutions;
- System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains;
- Create, maintain, and optimize automated build and deployment pipelines;
- Collaborate with Cloud Infrastructure team on application cloud migration;
- Act as enabler for other developers on cloud migration initiatives.

PROFILE

- Several years of experience as Cloud Engineer in complex programs;
- Strong experience with AWS;
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform;
- Experience with CDK; serverless is a plus;
- Advanced experience with Networking, Security, and virtualization technologies;
- Good English skills, both spoken and written;
- Development background in Java is a plus;
- AWS Certification is a plus.
