Cloud Engineer Onsite - Semarang
Summary
On-site Cloud Engineer installs, maintains, and troubleshoots physical IT infrastructure including servers, switches, and cabling in a data center, using Linux, networking, and out-of-band management tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the physical installation and removal of IT equipment, including servers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, racks, and cabling.
- Execute cable routing, cable dressing, and equipment labeling in accordance with Data Center standards.
- Perform hardware replacement and provide first-level troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
- Monitor the health and performance of infrastructure hardware, virtualization platforms, and supporting systems.
- Respond to hardware and software incidents and restore services within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
- Execute infrastructure changes, including hardware installations, upgrades, replacements, and configuration modifications based on approved change requests.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of Linux operating systems, including basic commands, service management, log analysis, and file navigation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking concepts, including VLANs, switching, IP addressing, and structured cabling.
- Familiarity with server hardware and out-of-band management tools such as BMC, iDRAC, iLO, or IPMI.
- Experience with structured cabling and rack cable management.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willing to work on-site and follow production support shift schedules.
- Exposure to Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), Red Hat OpenStack Platform (RHOSP/RH-OVE), or other container-based platforms.
- Experience or exposure to GPU-based server infrastructure.
