Cloud Engineer

Salary: $35,000 – $52,000 per month

Responsibilities

• Cloud Architecture & Vendor Management: Partner with strategic external vendors to design, deploy, and maintain robust private cloud platforms and PaaS offerings aligned with enterprise compliance and security standards.

• Cross-Functional Integration: Work alongside internal technical and application teams to guarantee high availability, smooth multi-system integration, and scalable cloud performance.

• Infrastructure & Configuration Automation: Build and manage automated provisioning workflows for IaaS and PaaS using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and Configuration-as-Code (CaC) frameworks.

• CI/CD & Deployment: Develop, maintain, and optimize standardized continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to accelerate application delivery.

• Reliability & Incident Resolution: Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot complex system incidents, and conduct root-cause analysis to minimize downtime and preserve high platform resilience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience designing and managing private cloud platforms and PaaS environments within an enterprise IT setup.

• Proven track record of deploying and managing production workloads across hybrid or private cloud architectures.

• Strong practical experience with:

  • DevOps / Automation: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

  • Operating Systems & Storage: Linux administration, S3-compatible object storage.

  • Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL.

• Practical exposure to AIOps practices and Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated experience implementing secure-by-design architectures and governance controls.

• Proven ability to work independently while thriving inside fast-paced, cross-functional Agile teams.

• Excellent communication skills in English, Chinese and Mandarin.
