Join a high-impact Cloud Platform Team within a forward-thinking Technology and Digital function, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and optimising modern cloud environments across Azure and AWS. In this role, you won’t just maintain infrastructure you’ll design, build and continuously improve scalable, cloud-native platforms that power critical systems.

You’ll take ownership of platform health and performance, proactively managing monitoring, incidents, and service requests to ensure reliability and resilience. With a strong focus on automation and innovation, you’ll leverage Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and Azure DevOps to deliver efficient, repeatable, and future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Maintain and optimise the performance, availability, and health of Azure & AWS environments
  • Monitor platforms end-to-end, manage incidents, and drive root cause resolution
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for scalable deployments
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
  • Design and deploy cloud solutions across compute, storage, networking, and serverless
  • Strengthen platform security, governance, and cost optimisation (FinOps)
  • Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python
  • Collaborate with development and business teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions
  • Experienced Cloud Engineer working across enterprise-scale Azure and/or AWS environments
  • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity (Entra ID / Active Directory)
  • Experience improving platform reliability, performance, and scalability
  • Comfortable working in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and continuous improvement
