About the Role

Weare seeking a highly experienced Cloud & Infrastructure Architect to leadenterprise cloud transformation, infrastructure modernization, applicationarchitecture, and AI-driven solution initiatives for global customers.

Theideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), enterprise infrastructure architecture, application design, andcustomer-facing consulting engagements. This role requires the ability totranslate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and innovativetechnology solutions while partnering closely with client stakeholders,engineering teams, and business leaders.

The successfulcandidate will serve as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, drivingarchitecture strategy, technical design, cloud adoption, modernizationinitiatives, and AI-enabled business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Solution Design

• Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud and infrastructure architectures across Azure and AWS environments.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
• Develop scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
• Create architecture blueprints, technical designs, implementation plans, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide guidance to engineering and delivery teams.

Customer Engagement & Consulting

• Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand business goals, challenges, and technical requirements.
• Lead solution discovery workshops, architecture assessment sessions, and technical discussions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and technology leadership teams.
• Present technical recommendations, modernization strategies, and transformation roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations.

Cloud & Infrastructure Modernization

• Lead cloud migration and modernization programs across Azure and AWS platforms.
• Design hybrid cloud and multi-region architectures ensuring high availability and business continuity.
• Define infrastructure strategies covering networking, compute, storage, security, identity management, and disaster recovery.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption and cloud automation initiatives.
• Optimize cloud environments for scalability, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Application Architecture

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design modern cloud-native applications.
• Define architecture patterns including microservices, APIs, event-driven systems, and distributed applications.
• Review application designs and ensure alignment with scalability, security, and maintainability standards.
• Guide development teams on architecture best practices and modernization approaches.
• Enable seamless integration across enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and cloud services.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify opportunities to leverage Generative AI and AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges.
• Design AI-enabled architectures supporting enterprise automation and decision intelligence.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement AI and LLM-based use cases.
• Develop proof-of-concepts and automation solutions using Python and modern AI frameworks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that deliver business value.

Leadership & Governance

• Provide technical leadership across multiple strategic programs and initiatives.
• Mentor architects, engineers, and technical teams.
• Establish architecture governance processes and review mechanisms.
• Collaborate with security, engineering, delivery, and business teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and technology excellence across engagements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Enterprise Architecture.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on architecture experience in Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Strong experience designing enterprise-scale cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of application architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and API-led integrations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation, or similar tools).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, or EKS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security, governance, identity management, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
• Proficiency in Python programming for automation, integration, and solution development.
• Experience with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered applications, and enterprise AI adoption strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, consulting, and strategic thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Associate.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Amazon Bedrock, and related AI services.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, system integration, or technology advisory organizations.
• Exposure to large-scale cloud transformation and application modernization programs.
• Certifications in Kubernetes, DevOps, Security, or Enterprise Architecture are a plus.
