Cloud & Infrastructure Automation Engineer - Hybrid Cloud - J13256
Salary: $30,000 – $38,000 per month
About the Client: We are partnering with a leading global technology services provider to source a cloud specialist for a major infrastructure project with one of Hong Kong's most established enterprise organizations. This environment is highly structured and complex, requiring a focus on stability, automation, and modernized cloud operations.
The Role & Landscape: You will be stepping into an established engineering team responsible for maintaining, automating, and scaling hybrid cloud infrastructure. This isn't just about keeping the lights on; it's about reducing manual overhead through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.
Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.
Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.
Write robust scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate daily operational tasks.
Monitor system health and performance using Datadog, implementing SRE best practices.
Handle core administration for both Windows and Linux environments, alongside MS SQL databases.
What We Are Looking For:
At least 5 years of solid experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, or DevOps.
Proven, hands-on experience deploying and managing resources in Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud.
Strong practical knowledge of Terraform (IaC) and Ansible (Configuration Management) – you shouldn't rely solely on GUIs.
Solid scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Demonstrable experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Datadog preferred).
Comfortable managing both Windows and Linux server environments.
(Bonus) Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Terraform Associate, or Alibaba ACA/ACP are highly regarded.
