Responsibilities:

We are the Global Shared Services Centre for a major client RGE (Royal Golden Eagle), one of the world’s largest resource-based manufacturing groups with diversified business in Pulp and Paper, Palm Oil (upstream & downstream), Viscose Fiber, FMCG, Energy, and other business segments, As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will support the provisioning, management, and optimisation of cloud infrastructure services across Azure, AWS, or hybrid environments. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and cost-effective cloud environments as the Group transitions from on-premise to cloud-first infrastructure.

• Assist in provisioning and managing cloud resources (virtual machines, storage accounts, databases, containers) across Azure, AWS, or multi-cloud platforms.
• Support cloud migration activities including workload assessment, server migration, and post-migration validation.
• Assist in implementing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, CloudFormation, or Ansible for repeatable and consistent deployments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance, and cost using tools such as Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Support patching, backup, and disaster recovery operations for cloud-hosted workloads.
• Help manage identity and access controls for cloud resources in alignment with security policies (Azure AD / Entra ID, IAM policies).
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues, providing Level 1 and Level 2 support.
• Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to ensure integrated and secure cloud service delivery.

To be successful in this role, it is recommended that you should have the following skills and qualifications:
• A degree in the related job field.
• At least 3 to 5 years of working exposure or experience in a similar role.
• Willing to relocate to the job location.
