Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Duties:

• Design, build, and manage secure, highly available public cloud environments (AWS / Azure) using Infrastructure as Code principles.

• Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) to automate code deployments, testing, and infrastructure updates.

• Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestrate microservices at scale via Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).

• Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or cloud-native monitors to ensure strict SLAs and rapid incident triage.

• Enforce cloud security best practices, identity and access management (IAM) guardrails, least-privilege principles, and compliance standards in collaboration with security teams.

• Monitor and audit cloud spend regularly, implementing auto-scaling policies, resource rightsizing, and storage lifecycle rules to maximize cost-efficiency.

• Incident Response & Disaster Recovery: Execute root-cause analysis (RCAs) for infrastructure outages, and test disaster recovery/business continuity plans.

Job Requirements:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering managing production environments.

• Hands-on, production experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS

• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Solid working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes clustering, networking, and deployment workflows.

• Strong fluency in scripting languages for automation, such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.

• Deep understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs/VNets, subnets, DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and VPN/direct connect architectures.

• Strong problem-solving skills, an automation-first philosophy, and a passion for eliminating manual toil.

• Good command of Mandarin
