Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for a highly experienced Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer to be responsible for the support, administration, security, optimization, and continuous improvement of Siepe’s internal SaaS infrastructure and client-facing cloud environments. This individual will play a critical role supporting developers, DBAs, infrastructure teams, and external clients across more than 20 AWS tenants hosting Siepe platforms.

The environment primarily features a Microsoft Windows infrastructure hosted on AWS EC2, including Active Directory domains, Microsoft SQL Server environments, application and web servers, development and QA environments, as well as secure network connectivity through Meraki SD-WAN and domain trust relationships.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS infrastructure operations, Windows Server administration, Active Directory, networking, automation, monitoring, and security best practices. This is a highly visible, hands-on support role that demands strong operational discipline, effective communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced financial technology environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support and administer 20+ AWS tenant environments and ~400 EC2 instances hosting Siepe SaaS platforms and client infrastructure, primarily across Windows-based systems.

  • Manage the full infrastructure lifecycle, including environment deployments, adds/moves/changes, upgrades, patching, backups, monitoring, and decommissioning.

  • Deploy and configure infrastructure for new client onboarding, supporting connectivity, integrations, authentication, and ongoing environment needs.

  • Administer Microsoft Active Directory across multiple AWS tenants and trusted domains, including GPOs, DNS, DHCP, DFS/DFSR, domain trusts, permissions, and role-based access.

  • Configure and support secure client access using SAML2, SSO, Identity Providers (IdP), VPNs, and related authentication technologies.

  • Maintain the security, availability, and compliance of cloud and Windows infrastructure, including vulnerability remediation, operational controls, and support for annual SOC 2 Type II audits.

  • Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization opportunities, including rightsizing and removing unused AWS resources.

  • Troubleshoot complex application, networking, authentication, and infrastructure issues, partnering with developers, DBAs, QA, technical leads, and clients through resolution.

  • Support hybrid connectivity between AWS and Siepe corporate infrastructure, including Meraki SD-WAN, and use PowerShell, Terraform, AI tools, and automation to streamline deployments and infrastructure operations.

  • Maintain accurate system documentation and operational knowledge, track work and service requests in ConnectWise PSA, and provide regular visibility into progress, risks, issues, and remediation activities.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure in AWS, including large-scale EC2 environments and multi-tenant cloud infrastructure.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including domain trusts, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, DFS/DFSR, identity management, and access controls.

  • Strong networking expertise across Layer 3 routing, firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN, with familiarity with Meraki technologies.

  • Experience supporting Microsoft SQL Server, Windows application servers, and web server environments.

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security and operations, including vulnerability management, patching, backups, monitoring, endpoint management, and security best practices.

  • Experience with SAML2, SSO, Identity Providers (IdP), and secure remote access solutions.

  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Terraform, and infrastructure automation, with exposure to DevOps methodologies and CI/CD environments.

  • Experience with AWS cost optimization and cloud governance, with familiarity with SOC 2 Type II controls and compliance requirements.

  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to independently manage multiple environments and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working in an MSP or client-facing infrastructure environment; experience supporting alternative investment management or financial services organizations is a plus.

All applicants must have current and ongoing authorization to work in the country of employment without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
