Cloud Network Engineer
Summary
12-month contract via consultancy emagine for a Cloud Network Engineer in Stockholm (on-site 2-3 days/week) to design and implement secure AWS network connectivity. Core stack: AWS networking (VPCs, Site-to-Site VPN, Direct Connect), Terraform/IaC, and IPSec VPN gateways like Palo Alto, Cisco, StrongSwan and VyOS.
emagine is looking for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to support the design and implementation of secure network connectivity solutions within AWS.
Start: Target date October 19th
Duration: 12 month
Location: Stocholm, min 2-3 days/week at the office
Key Requirements:
Strong experience with AWS networking (VPCs, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Groups).
Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
Deep knowledge of IPSec Site-to-Site VPNs, including X.509 certificate-based authentication.
Experience configuring VPN gateways such as Palo Alto, Cisco, StrongSwan, and VyOS.
Experience implementing and supporting AWS Site-to-Site VPN solutions.
Knowledge of hybrid connectivity solutions, including AWS Direct Connect and leased-line technologies.
Ability to design, deploy, and troubleshoot secure connectivity between AWS and external partner networks.
Profile: A self-driven cloud networking specialist with strong troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of delivering secure, scalable, and automated network solutions in AWS environments.
