British American Tobacco Mexico has an exciting opportunity for a Cloud & Network Manager in Monterrey

The role directly supports the reliability, security and performance of cloud and network platforms that are critical to business operations. It provides operational leadership across AWS-focused cloud services, hybrid connectivity and network service management, helping ensure technology platforms are stable, compliant, cost-effective and able to support business transformation

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Manage cloud and network services across the operational portfolio, ensuring the reliability, availability, security, performance and operational health of AWS cloud platforms, connectivity, network services and hybrid environments.
  • Provide operational leadership for cloud and network services, overseeing monitoring, capacity management, performance, incident response and service continuity in collaboration with internal teams and managed service providers.
  • Act as the primary operational escalation point for cloud and network incidents, coordinating technical teams, vendors and stakeholders through resolution, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the deployment, transition and operational readiness of new cloud and network capabilities, ensuring solutions meet enterprise standards for security, supportability and operational excellence.
  • Manage service levels, operational KPIs, service reviews and improvement plans, while ensuring compliance with IT service management processes, security requirements, audit controls and internal standards.
  • Partner with solution architects, cybersecurity teams, application teams and vendors to define service roadmaps, technical standards, governance models and operational best practices.
  • Drive cloud and network financial management activities, including cost control, forecasting, optimization, demand management and technical assessment of new business requirements and service requests.
  • Manage third-party service providers and support partners to ensure effective service delivery, clear accountability, timely escalations, risk mitigation, problem management and measurable service improvements.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Network Operations, IT Infrastructure Services, or business-facing infrastructure roles. Candidates with 4+ years of highly relevant experience may also be considered.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to lead meetings, manage incidents, present to senior stakeholders, and collaborate daily with teams across the United States and global markets.
  • Proven experience managing cloud and network services within large global organizations, including outsourced or managed service provider environments, operational governance, and service performance management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of cloud infrastructure and enterprise networking, including AWS or similar cloud platforms, cloud connectivity, hybrid environments, routing, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, and network security concepts.
  • Experience managing operational service delivery across cloud and network platforms, including incident, problem, change, capacity, performance, availability, and service continuity management.
  • Demonstrated experience leading major incidents and driving resolution through effective coordination of technical teams, service providers, and business stakeholders in critical business environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into business impact, action plans, and executive-level communications.

BENEFICIAL

  • AWS Certification or equivalent hands-on experience managing AWS environments.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other public cloud platforms.
  • Experience leading cloud migrations, infrastructure transformation initiatives, or large-scale technology projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, project management frameworks, and IT Service Management (ITIL) practices.
