Cloud Network Security Engineer (weekend, shift) #IDO

Note: Successful candidates need to be comfortable with working on weekends and shift as and when required.

We are seeking a Cloud Network Security Engineer to support and secure enterprise cloud and hybrid network environments. The role involves managing Azure networking, network security controls, firewall policies, connectivity troubleshooting, and cloud infrastructure changes while ensuring operational stability and security compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Azure network infrastructure and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Manage Azure Network Security Groups (NSGs), Azure Firewall, VPNs, and cloud network segmentation.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across on-premises and cloud-hosted applications.
• Monitor and analyze network traffic using Azure Network Watcher, KQL, Splunk, SolarWinds, and ThousandEyes.
• Support firewall policy administration for Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Cisco Firepower platforms.
• Perform network security assessments, traffic-path validation, and firewall rule reviews.
• Execute infrastructure changes following ITIL and ServiceNow change management processes.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to resolve incidents and maintain service availability.
• Support routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VLANs, and SD-WAN environments.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise network and cloud environments.
• Strong Azure networking and security experience.
• Hands-on experience with NSG, Azure Firewall, VPN, and hybrid connectivity.
• Knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, or Firepower firewalls.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and packet analysis tools.
• Experience in ServiceNow and change management processes.
