Qualifications • Cloud Architecture Experience: 8+ years’ experience across technology architecture, cloud engineering or infrastructure, including significant experience in a cloud architecture or senior solution design role. • Cloud Platforms & Networking: Strong hands-on expertise across Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, with experience designing cloud networks, landing zones, hybrid connectivity, routing, DNS, segmentation, firewalls and secure platform foundations. • Azure experience is highly regarded. • Cloud Migration & Modernisation: Demonstrated experience designing and delivering large-scale cloud migration, modernisation or data centre exit programs, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments. • Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Strong knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, monitoring and operational resilience, including designing against recovery and service continuity requirements. • Cloud Security & Identity: Strong understanding of Zero Trust, identity and access management, network security, encryption, secrets management, security controls and secure cloud architecture. • Automation & DevOps: Experience with infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Terraform or Bicep, CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, cloud APIs and scripting using PowerShell, Python or similar technologies. • Architecture Governance, Risk & Standards: Experience establishing architecture standards, patterns and decision records, with knowledge of recognised frameworks and regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, NIST, ACSC Essential Eight, APRA CPS 230 and CPS 234. • Stakeholder & Technical Leadership: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide technical leadership and translate complex architecture, security, cost and technology risk considerations into clear business outcomes.
