Cloud Operations Engineer – Manila / Cebu
About the role
You'll help keep cloud and infrastructure environments reliable, secure, and running efficiently, working with multi-cloud environments and partnering with SRE and engineering teams to improve the reliability, performance, and efficiency of critical systems.
Key responsibilities
Manage and support AWS and multi-cloud environments, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
Work closely with SRE, engineering, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve operations
Take ownership of escalated technical concerns involving infrastructure, systems, and cloud services
Support CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and deployment initiatives
Work with technologies such as Kubernetes, Git/GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, Artifactory, and similar DevOps platforms
Create documentation, reports, and operational insights that help teams work more effectively
Recommend improvements to cloud architecture, reliability, and operational processes
Lead or contribute to engineering projects that improve technical excellence
About you
3+ years of hands-on AWS experience
Experience with at least one other public cloud platform, such as Azure or Google Cloud
Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD practices in cloud, hybrid, or private infrastructure environments
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and modern DevOps tools
Strong troubleshooting and systems administration skills
Experience supporting customers, users, or internal teams on cloud, infrastructure, or platform-related issues
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field
