Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Architect to join our team and support our client in the Colorado Springs area. You will be responsible for overseeing the design and deployment of applications across various cloud environments, including public, private, and hybrid clouds. Your work will involve developing and executing cloud adoption strategies, ensuring seamless integration of applications, and managing the ongoing operation and monitoring of cloud-based solutions. You will be expected to lead the architectural planning for cloud services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure platforms that meet organizational needs. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding the transition of legacy systems to cloud-native architectures and optimizing performance within these environments.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee application architecture and deployment across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
- Design and implement cloud platform services to meet organizational needs
- Develop and execute cloud adoption plans for seamless migration and integration
- Lead cloud application design initiatives, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Manage and monitor cloud environments to optimize performance and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives
- Establish best practices for cloud management and governance
What you’ll need:
- 5 years of experience working in cloud environments as an administrator or engineer (e.g.: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code processes
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g.: Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Experience with automation frameworks
- Experience embedding RMF processes and comprehensive vulnerability assessments into cloud infrastructure
- Background in cloud cybersecurity (e.g.: identity management, data encryption, incident response processes, etc.)
Bonus Points if you have:
- Experience with management and monitoring solutions such as: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Datadog
- Previous involvement in designing cloud service models, implementing security best practices, and managing multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
Security Clearance:
You must have an active TS/SCI level clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
