Cloud Platform Architect (Network & Security)

Our client, a reputable financial institution, is seeking a Cloud Platform Architect (Network & Security) to join their growing team. In this position, the ideal candidate will be the gatekeeper, builder, and troubleshooter for the network security backbone of a private cloud platform. You will build and protect the digital highway and security walls.

Responsibilities:

• SME & Architecture. Act as the primary technical expert for private cloud network and security infrastructure (architecture, routing, firewalls, proxies, VPNs, and ELB).

• Operations & Lifecycle. Manage product lifecycles, patching, capacity planning, troubleshooting, and compliance reporting.

• Incident Management. Lead troubleshooting for production incidents, write problem reports, and execute emergency on-call/onsite support.

• Collaboration & Deployment. Partner with cloud architecture teams and vendors to onboard applications, resolve connectivity/performance issues, and implement infrastructure aligned with business needs.

Requirements:

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience (preferably in banks or major financial institutions).

• Hands-on experience with networking/security operations, routing, and tools like Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Huawei equipment.

• Cloud & Compliance. Knowledge of cloud tech (VPC, Cloud Firewall, WAF) and financial industry ITSM/IT compliance standards.

• Strong presentation, documentation, and reporting abilities, alongside bilingual communication skills (English and Cantonese ).
