The Role

You'll take ownership of their central cloud platform strategy, driving continuous evolution of their containerization, virtualization, and CI/CD infrastructure. You'll work across multiple value streams to design and implement scalable, secure platform solutions—partnering closely with internal teams and external technology providers.

What You'll Do

• Design and architect platform solutions that align with business, security, compliance, and operational requirements
• Lead projects from conception through successful deployment and beyond
• Build and operate modern platforms in the OpenShift, CI/CD, virtualization, and multi-cloud space
• Plan, automate, and optimize infrastructure using DevOps, GitOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
• Collaborate with managed service providers and technology partners to ensure quality outcomes
• Evaluate emerging technologies and continuously improve platform standards and practices
• Participate in periodic on-call rotation

About You

Essential Background

• Completed higher education or advanced qualification in IT (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university degree)
• Several years of hands-on experience engineering and/or architecting modern platform and infrastructure environments

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, Linux, and virtualization platforms
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and multi-cloud environments (preferred)
• Ability to develop technical architectures and guide their implementation
• Comfortable working with managed service providers—you'll define requirements, track execution, and advocate for quality and security
• Solid understanding of information security principles
• Knowledge of networking, identity & access management, and security by design
• Demonstrated technical leadership and the ability to drive sustainable solutions
