Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS / DevOps) | 24-Month Contract
Summary
24-month full-time contract in Singapore supporting a government Enterprise Application Integration platform: the engineer designs and maintains secure AWS cloud infrastructure, builds Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation), runs CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines, and operates containerised workloads on Kubernetes/EKS.
We are hiring a Cloud Platform Engineer to support the operations, administration and continuous improvement of an Enterprise Application Integration platform in a government technology environment.
You will design, develop, deploy and maintain secure cloud-native backend infrastructure on AWS. You will also build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions, manage CI/CD pipelines, and support cloud networking, security, routing, load balancing, DNS and connectivity.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on AWS
Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines
Develop and optimise DevOps or DevSecOps pipelines for automated build, testing and deployment
Manage AWS services and infrastructure including EKS, ECR, S3, Lambda, VPC, networking and connectivity
Support containerised workloads using Kubernetes and Helm
Apply security scanning, infrastructure hardening and cloud security best practices
Monitor platform performance and establish feedback loops for reliability improvement
Prepare technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams
1-2 years of direct experience implementing or administering systems on AWS
1-2 years of direct experience implementing or administering DevOps or DevSecOps pipelines
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably CloudFormation or Terraform
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm or AWS container services such as EKS and ECR
Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, VPC, API Gateway, RDS or DynamoDB
Understanding of cloud security scanning, compliance controls and infrastructure hardening
Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to different audiences
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline

Salary: Up to S$6000 per month, subject to confirmation
