Cloud Program Manager, Google Cloud Consulting

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines. Canada: $146000 - $149000 (CAD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Manage an overview of project goals and deliverables presented on a timeline and use the roadmap to manage stakeholder expectations, and to communicate plans and coordinate resources.
• Collaborate with team members or stakeholders to understand or identify work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Complete (e.g., budget, schedule, resource, technical) risk identification and risk assessment activities and mitigation plans in addition to monitoring foreseeable risk, and recording its evolution and influence on project/program objectives.
• Establish and track processes in collaboration with stakeholders, hold stakeholders/teams accountable for following the established processes, identify sponsors and stakeholders and secure resources, ensure work alignment with compliance/privacy policies, identify opportunities, implement process improvements, and support/promote the adoption of processes.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  
• 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Preferred qualifications:

• MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Certification or program management experience within a technology company.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Understanding of cloud marketplace differentiators and rapid technology adoption.
• Ability to operate in an ambiguous environment and define clear paths to resolution.
• Ability to collect data and leverage quantitative analysis for prioritization.
