- Conduct technology evaluations to support business case development, define test cases, and assist with vendor selection using industry standards.
- Assist in designing, testing, and implementing security solutions that fulfill security and regulatory requirements for cloud environments.
- Collaborate with senior cloud security engineers, development, and operational teams to ensure secure application and service design following best practices.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders including business owners, end-users, customers, project managers, engineers, and leaders.
- Apply working knowledge of information security principles, theories, and concepts in daily tasks.
- Assist with security analysis of application architectures and cloud services.
- Apply understanding of information security, risk management, and data privacy within digital commerce.
- Utilize knowledge of security capabilities and limitations for cloud-native and multi-cloud environments.
- Demonstrate understanding of firewalls, threat prevention/detection, and application security principles.
- Apply knowledge of applied cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
- Utilize understanding of identity management, authentication, and authorization.
- Contribute to areas closely aligned with Cybersecurity Architecture, Secure Systems Development, Security Control Assessment, Systems Authorization, and Systems Security Management.
