Cloud Security Engineer
Summary
6-12 month Cloud Security Engineer contract at a global retail organisation, hybrid in London (Monument) or Manchester. The role mixes strategy and hands-on delivery: improving cloud security posture, reviewing architecture, building a cloud security assurance model, and securing CI/CD pipelines using Azure/GCP, Terraform and Python.
Salary: £70,000 - 110,000 per year
Requirements:- Knowledge of securing Azure and GCP platforms, preferred
- Good understanding of reviewing architecture and identifying what looks good
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, specifically Terraform
- Knowledge of automation, specifically Python
- Experience working in a DevSecOps environment and standard DevSecOps principles
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of best practice frameworks such as CIS and NIST
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Assist us in improving our cloud security posture
- Work closely with stakeholders
- Review architecture and contribute to cloud security design decisions
- Help develop our Cloud Security assurance model
