Cloud Security Engineer (Prisma Cloud / AWS Security) - Remote
Summary
12-month contract (C2C or W2) cloud security role for a global digital payments client, 100% remote on US West/East Coast. The engineer remediates AWS misconfigurations and IAM drift, embeds container/IaC scanning into CI/CD, and runs CSPM with Prisma Cloud/Wiz plus AWS-native security tools.
Compensation: $176k – $197k

What you will do:
- Identify and remediate cloud configuration drifts, exposed S3 buckets, and overly permissive IAM roles.
- Embed container and IaC vulnerability scanning into CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with platform teams to define network security groups and egress filtering rules.
What you will bring:
- 6+ years of dedicated cloud security architecture and operations experience.
- Hands-on implementation of Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) via Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or Wiz.
- Deep expertise in AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, IAM access analyzer, and WAF rules.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, shifting security left using tools like Snyk or Checkov.
