Cloud Software Engineer

About the role
At IDDTEK, we are looking to incorporate a Cloud Software Engineer into our Advanced Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 unit, to participate in the design of the application execution architecture in production.
The selected person will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions in Python on cloud environments (Azure and Databricks), guaranteeing their scalability, performance, quality, and correct deployment in production.
What you'll do
The selected person will perform the following functions within the team:
●Design and evolve the application execution architecture in production.
●Industrialize algorithms in Python, ensuring quality, performance, and maintainability.
●Deploy and optimize solutions in cloud environments (Azure, Databricks).
●Define and execute testing strategies (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
●Guarantee compliance with development best practices and quality standards.
●Collaborate closely with data science, engineering, and platform teams.
What we're looking for
●Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar
●Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with solid mastery of Python.
●Demonstrable experience in cloud environments, especially Azure and/or Databricks.
●Knowledge of distributed systems and data processing (Spark, SQL).
●Experience in version control and collaborative workflows (Git).
●Ability to work with complex code, refactor it, and scale it while maintaining its functionality.
