Cloud Software Engineer (TS/SCI with Poly required, Hybrid Remote)

A day in the life:
- Design, build, and deploy an enterprise NOC/SOC in an AWS Landing Zone.
- Design, build, and deploy a secure cloud environment.
- Support the migration of their Training Environment in the AWS Landing Zone. This includes deploying multiple containerized software solutions from 3rd party vendors, maintaining EKS clusters, and establishing hybrid networking between on-prem and cloud deployments.
- Develop and implement a containerized Landing Zone solution, establishing governance and a secure governance framework for tenant workload management.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
- Cloud/AWS experience includes:
- - Infrastructure as code (IaC) - CDK (preferred) or Terraform;
- - Programming Languages - Python, Typescript;
- - Core services - Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB;
- - Security - IAM, VPC, KMOS;
- - Networking - routing, security, DNS, Load balancing;
- - CI/CD;
- - Monitoring - CloudWatch, OpenSearch;
- - Containerization - Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
For this particular role, you will also need:
- 5+ years of solid software engineering experience.
- AWS Solutions Architect Associate or similar.
The total package:
- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is $180,000 - $250,000.
