The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) Manager for Data & AI leads a team of highly skilled technical architects helping enterprise customers accelerate their data modernization, analytics, and AI journeys on Microsoft Cloud. You will develop and inspire a high-performing team of Cloud Solution Architects who act as trusted advisors to customers, guiding strategic technology decisions and ensuring successful adoption of Microsoft Data & AI solutions.
In this role, you will partner closely with customers, account teams, engineering, and partners to drive business outcomes through Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, and emerging agentic AI capabilities. Your team will help customers build secure, governed, and AI-ready data platforms while accelerating innovation and digital transformation at scale.

Responsibilities
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Cloud Solution Architects (CSAs) across Data, Analytics, AI, and Agentic AI solution areas.

Customer Success & Business Impact
- Partner with strategic enterprise customers to accelerate their data modernization and AI transformation journeys on Microsoft Cloud.
- Ensure customers achieve measurable business outcomes through successful deployment, adoption, and value realization of Microsoft Data & AI solutions.
- Guide customers in designing secure, scalable, and governed architectures leveraging Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Azure AI, Copilot, and emerging Agentic AI capabilities.
- Proactively identify customer risks, remove blockers, and drive successful execution of complex cloud transformation initiatives.
Technical Leadership
- Establish technical strategy and execution priorities for the team aligned with Microsoft’s Cloud and AI vision.
- Drive technical excellence across architecture design, solution implementation, operational readiness, and production deployment.
- Ensure the team maintains deep expertise in modern data platforms, analytics, machine learning, AI applications, governance, and cloud-native architectures.
- Act as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor for complex customer engagements and critical technical escalations.
Business & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, Product Groups, Partners, and Services organizations to deliver customer success.
- Drive alignment across account teams to accelerate customer adoption, cloud consumption, and business growth.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to provide customer feedback, influence product direction, and accelerate innovation.
- Support regional and corporate priorities by contributing to strategic initiatives, executive engagements, and organizational transformation programs.
Operational Excellence
- Drive execution discipline through effective business management, forecasting, resource planning, and prioritization.
- Leverage data-driven insights to measure customer success, team performance, operational health, and business impact.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, governance, and responsible AI standards.
- Create scalable processes and best practices that improve team effectiveness and customer outcomes across the region.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
- 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external), including engaging executive stakeholders and leading strategic customer conversations.
- 6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions in areas such as cloud computing, data platforms, analytics, artificial intelligence, or digital transformation.
- 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers, and coaching and developing technical professionals and leaders.
- Experience with modern data platforms, analytics, cloud architectures, and enterprise technology environments, including Microsoft Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, or comparable modern AI platforms.
- Experience leading large-scale cloud migration, modernization, analytics, or AI transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes through technology adoption and customer success.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience working with enterprise customers across multiple industries and partnering with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Partner organizations.
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams across multiple countries and cultures.
- Strong collaboration, influence, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to execute in complex, matrixed, and fast-paced environments.
- Fluent English required; Spanish proficiency preferred.
- Technical certification in Cloud, Data, AI, Architecture, or a related discipline (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, or security certifications).
