Cloud Solutions Consultant

Responsibilities

Individuals in this position perform IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging, and implementation of applications supporting the company infrastructure, business processes, operations, and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. The ideal individual will be familiar with distributed system and scalable architecture and possess a strong foundation in infrastructure management systems and Cloud Architecture.

• Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies, and supports operating systems, databases, or utilities software
• Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions
• Analyzes, designs, acquires, and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems
• Plans, designs, acquires, and implements cloud-based platform solutions
• At higher job levels, may contribute to the development, testing, evaluation, or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set
• May work in conjunction with the professional services function
• Responsibilities may include supporting web-enabled, thick-client, cloud-native, and various cloud deployed solutions
• Receives most projects and assignments directly from customers or identifies them independently
• Leads some projects and participates in multiple other projects
• Contributions may often span different career categories and/or regions
• Transitions to a bi-directional partner/advisor relationship with management
