About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a leading technology consulting organisation supporting large-scale enterprise and government infrastructure projects.

As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining mission-critical infrastructure across Windows, Linux and virtualisation platforms. This role offers exposure to enterprise technologies, secure environments and large-scale infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure and enterprise platforms
• Support Linux servers (Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Perform server maintenance, operating system patching and health checks
• Monitor infrastructure performance and resolve production incidents
• Support enterprise virtualisation platforms including Nutanix, VMware and Citrix
• Implement approved changes while following established change management processes
• Assist with vulnerability remediation and security compliance activities
• Support backup and recovery operations using enterprise backup solutions
• Work closely with vendors and internal stakeholders on deployments, upgrades and infrastructure projects
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and operational records

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with experience in several of the following areas:

Infrastructure

• Microsoft Windows Server
• Active Directory

• DHCP
• Group Policy

Linux

• Ubuntu
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)

Virtualisation

• Nutanix AHV
• VMware vSphere / ESXi
• Citrix Virtual Desktop

Enterprise Tools (Advantageous)

• Splunk
• SolarWinds
• Veeam Backup
• Tenable
• BeyondTrust
• Ansible Automation Platform

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in infrastructure support, systems administration or cloud support
• Experience supporting enterprise Windows and/or Linux environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting enterprise or regulated environments will be advantageous

Security Requirement

This position supports a security-sensitive project. Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain the required project security clearance.
