Position Summary:

Infor is seeking a Cloud System Administrator for the Cloud Operations team in Bangalore. This role administers production AWS environments for enterprise SaaS applications, supports secure and reliable service operations, and owns automation that improves deployment, configuration, monitoring, and incident response workflows.

The role uses Terraform, SaltStack, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and PowerShell to automate provisioning, configuration management, release execution, reporting, and operational recovery across production cloud services
• Administer AWS production services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and ELB/ALB, with focus on availability, access control, monitoring, and incident response readiness.
• Execute production application patches and releases using defined release plans, rollback steps, validation checks, and scheduled maintenance windows.
• Create and maintain deployment automation that reduces manual release steps and supports repeatable production changes.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation and respond to production alerts, escalations, and service-impacting incidents.
• Convert recurring operational tasks into reusable scripts, runbooks, and self-service automation.
• Review incident patterns and implement automation or configuration changes that reduce repeat incidents.
• Act as an escalation point for cloud infrastructure, deployment, configuration management, and production troubleshooting issues.
• Maintain operational tooling for deployment validation, monitoring checks, alert handling, reporting, and handoffs between support teams.
• Create, review, and improve Terraform modules, SaltStack states, and reusable automation patterns for cloud provisioning and configuration.
• Improve CI/CD and release automation by identifying manual steps, validating deployment readiness, and standardizing release checks.
• Work with application, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues and implement preventive fixes.

5+ years administering production cloud or enterprise application environments.
• 3+ years supporting complex Linux and Windows environments, including CentOS/RHEL and Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later.
Hands-on experience with AWS production services, including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Route 53, CloudWatch, and ELB/ALB,using AWS cli(Command line interface)
• Experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure, including modules, remote state, workspaces, and reusable configuration patterns.
• Experience using SaltStack for configuration management, including states, pillars, grains, and formulas.
• Strong scripting experience with Bash, Python, and PowerShell for provisioning, deployment, monitoring, reporting, and recovery automation.
• Experience integrating automation into release management, incident response, access management, patching, and environment validation workflows.
• Experience deploying code to production using release plans, validation steps, rollback procedures, and maintenance windows.
• Ability to document runbooks, automation procedures, operational checks, and troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Security-focused production mindset, including access control, change control, monitoring, and audit readiness.
• Ability to collaborate with application, security, infrastructure, and operations teams during production incidents and planned releases.
• Ability to support scheduled maintenance windows and critical production activities.

· Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or multi-tenant cloud platforms.
· Experience improving deployment pipelines, infrastructure automation, configuration management, or internal operations tooling.
· Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, monitoring, alert tuning, and service reliability practices.
· Experience supporting secure, compliant, and highly available production environments across cross-functional teams.
