Lumin8 is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join our Technology Services team and help support, administer, and continuously improve our modern, cloud-first IT environment.

This is a hands-on role combining systems administration, technical support, troubleshooting, and project work across Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, applications, networking, security, and infrastructure. We’re looking for a strong systems administrator, troubleshooter, and teammate who takes ownership, works through unfamiliar problems, and actively looks for ways to improve the environment. A strong Microsoft 365 foundation, including practical Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune experience, is required. We value the depth and quality of hands-on experience more than a specific number of years.

You’ll join a team that has made significant progress modernizing and standardizing the environment and is continuing to build for scale. You’ll have broad exposure across the technology stack, with opportunities to solve real problems, improve systems and processes, expand automation, reduce recurring issues, and contribute to meaningful technology projects.

This position is fully on-site to start in Arvada, Colorado. Working together in person is important as we strengthen team collaboration and consistent operating practices. We are open to future flexibility, including hybrid work, as the team and environment evolve. No future hybrid schedule or transition timeline is guaranteed, but it is our goal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Own and resolve technical issues involving Windows devices, Microsoft 365, applications, identity, access, mobile devices, and other business technology.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Provision and manage Windows endpoints using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
• Package, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot applications through Intune and Company Portal.
• Support endpoint configuration, compliance, patching, security, software deployment, and device lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot complex problems using logs, diagnostics, deployment results, and other technical evidence to identify root causes rather than relying on temporary workarounds.
• Support onboarding, offboarding, account access, licensing, device deployment, and company-owned mobile devices.
• Assist with networking and infrastructure troubleshooting, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and multi-site connectivity.
• Use PowerShell and automation to reduce repetitive administration where practical.
• Identify and implement improvements that increase reliability, security, consistency, manageability, and employee productivity while helping strengthen documentation and repeatable processes.

Required Skills/Abilities:

We value depth of experience over tenure. Someone who has spent fewer years working deeply across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID, troubleshooting, deployment, and implementation may be a stronger fit than someone with more years but narrower experience.

• Strong hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365, including practical Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune experience in a production environment.
• Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 endpoints.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to investigate unfamiliar problems and work methodically toward root cause.
• Understanding of cloud-first IT management, including centralized configuration, policy-based management, security, and standardization.
• Ability to take ownership of problems, manage competing priorities, and recognize when collaboration or escalation is appropriate.
• A continuous-improvement mindset with the ability to identify better ways of configuring, supporting, and managing technology.
• Strong communication, documentation, follow-through, and organizational skills with a collaborative, service-minded approach.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred experience includes: Windows Autopilot, Intune application packaging and Win32 deployments, PowerShell, Conditional Access, Apple Business Manager, Ubiquiti UniFi, networking fundamentals, and detailed log analysis/root-cause troubleshooting.
• Certifications are a plus, not a requirement. Relevant certifications include CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, along with Microsoft certifications focused on endpoint management, Intune, identity and access, Microsoft 365 administration, or Azure administration.
• Prior experience with any of these technologies is a definite plus, but experience with the entire stack is not expected:
• Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Autopilot, Company Portal, PowerShell, NinjaOne RMM, Patch My PC, HaloITSM, Hudu, DNSFilter, Blackpoint Cyber, Domotz, Ubiquiti UniFi, Check Point, and Apple Business Manager.
