Cloud & Web Application Engineer / Full Stack Cloud Engineer (over $50K, Python)

Salary: $55,000 – $65,000 per month

Job Duties:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain public-facing web applications and related systems on government and public cloud platforms.

• Evaluate, design, implement, and support cloud-native solutions across multiple cloud providers.

• Manage and maintain cloud services, including:

  • Serverless computing solutions

  • Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

  • Object Storage Services

  • Virtual Machines

  • Databases

  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)

• Collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and users on system integration, testing, and user acceptance activities.

• Maintain and optimize systems responsible for extracting, storing, processing, and presenting historical data.

• Monitor security advisories and industry best practices, assess their impact, and implement necessary patches and security enhancements.

• Research emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry trends, and recommend innovative solutions for continuous system improvement.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing system support to ensure high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Python development.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in web application development using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in developing or supporting containerized platforms based on Kubernetes (K8s).

• Solid experience in Linux system administration.

• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architecture.

• Experience with Alibaba Cloud and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) is highly preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of cloud security, system hardening, and vulnerability management.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container orchestration.

• Experience working in large-scale or government-related projects is an advantage
