Cluster Technical Manager - LAP

Job Summary**

The Cluster Technical Manager will oversee the technical operations and infrastructure across a designated cluster of sites, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of all systems and services. This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and hands-on technical problem-solving.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage a team of technical staff within the assigned cluster, including performance management, training, and development.
* Develop and implement technical strategies and roadmaps aligned with overall business objectives and corporate IT policies.
* Oversee the design, implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments.
* Ensure the security and integrity of all technical systems and data within the cluster, adhering to best practices and compliance requirements.
* Manage IT budgets, procurements, and vendor relationships for technical equipment and services across the cluster.
* Collaborate with other cluster managers and central IT teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in technical operations.
* Provide expert technical support and guidance to resolve complex issues and minimize downtime.
* Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability, implementing proactive measures for improvement.
* Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical systems and processes.
* Participate in on-call rotations for critical incident response as required.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
* Proven experience managing technical teams across multiple locations or a clustered environment.
* Strong understanding of network protocols, server operating systems (Windows and Linux), virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
* Solid knowledge of IT security principles, data backup and recovery strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
* Experience with IT service management frameworks (ITIL).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
* Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VCP, ITIL Foundation) are a plus.
* Ability to travel regularly within the assigned cluster.
