CMI Analyst France & Strategic Projects

France is one of Unilever’s strategically important Foods markets, with a strong brand portfolio including global brands such as Knorr and locally-led brands such as Amora and Maille.
This role exists to bring the voice of the consumer into key business decisions for France Foods, while helping the wider Foods Europe CMI team generate faster, smarter and more cost-effective consumer learning across Europe.
You will work closely with the France CMI Lead, taking ownership of agreed areas of the France Foods agenda and partnering with the business to turn consumer, market and category understanding into action. Alongside the France scope, you will support key Foods Europe strategic projects and help bring more consumer research in-house, using the right mix of research, analytics, agile approaches and emerging tools.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the France CMI Lead to deliver the France Foods insight agenda, with clear ownership of agreed categories, projects and business priorities (eg cooking staples portfolio such as Knorr bouillons, seasonings, sauces).
Act as the Consumer & Market Insights partner for your area of the France portfolio, bringing consumer, market and category understanding into innovation and growth decisions.
Lead consumer learning for local innovation projects, from identifying the key business and consumer questions through research design, execution and translation into recommendations.
Identify relevant consumer, category and market trends, connecting multiple sources of information to highlight opportunities and risks for the France Foods business.
Design and execute consumer research end-to-end, using the right combination of qualitative, quantitative, agile and emerging research approaches.
Support Foods Europe CMI teams in bringing more research in-house, helping deliver studies faster and more cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of consumer learning.
Translate research and data into simple, actionable insights and recommendations that influence business decisions.
Leverage AI, analytics and emerging insight tools to make consumer learning faster, smarter and more impactful.
Build strong relationships across CMI and multifunctional teams, collaborating effectively across both the France and European agendas.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Consumer & Market Insights, Market Research, Analytics, Marketing, Customer Strategy & Planning, Category Management or another relevant commercial discipline.
Strong analytical thinking and ability to turn complex information, data and research findings into clear insights, implications and business recommendations.
Genuine curiosity about consumers, people and culture, with a passion for understanding what drives behaviour.
Learning mindset and can-do attitude, with the curiosity to test new tools and approaches, openness to feedback, and ability to adjust your approach as you learn.
Strong project management skills, with a willingness to be hands-on in designing and executing research as well as interpreting the results.
Fluent in French and English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methodologies.
Comfortable using analytical tools and dashboards, such as Excel, Power BI or similar platforms.
Interest in using AI, analytics and new research approaches to improve the speed, quality and efficiency of insight generation.
