CMM Programmer
Must-haves
- CMM programming and operation in a machining or manufacturing setting
- PC-DMIS proficiency (strongly preferred)
- Strong GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Dimensional inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges)
- ISO 9001 quality system experience
Nice-to-haves
- IATF 16949 or AS9100
- Creo, SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD
- CNC milling and turning familiarity
- QC-Calc or other SPC software
- Root cause analysis and corrective action experience
Day-to-day they'll be doing
- Writing and optimizing CMM inspection routines
- First article, in-process and final inspections
- Ballooned drawings and FAI documentation
- Inspection reports for internal teams and customers
- Training operators on basic CMM use
- Helping design fixtures with the tool room
