TOMCO CMMinspect is seeking a full-time, permanent, CMM
TECHNICIAN, DRAFTSMAN or ENGINEERING
TECHNOLOGIST who can support our growing CMM services.

sales & rentals to the oil, gas & petrochemical facilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Perform field inspections using portable CMM metrology equipment
(laser trackers
and articulated arms) and 3D CAD software to obtain dimensional
and alignment
results and recommend action
• Generate & complete reports after inspections are completed.
• Undertake planning and implementation of CMM inspection
requirements to
facilitate the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial mechanical
equipment
• Working overtime hours will be required
• Travelling through out Western Canada, staying in in hotels,
camps etc.
• Trained internally to operate portable CMM's by Master Technician
Requirements
- Experience using a laser tracker is an asset (Faro, API or
equivalent)
- Familiar with mechanical equipment used in the mining, oil and
gas, petrochemical, and power generation industry
- 3D CAD system knowledge, preferably Mastercam
- Blueprint reading skills and have a good understanding of GD&T
- Drafting experience, surveying experience, field experience
- Cover letter explaining which requirements you possess will be given priority
