You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of care services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. RESPONSIBILITIES

- Social companionship
- Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
- Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
- Standby assistance with transfers
- Overnight safety assistance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
- Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
- Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
- Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
- A compassionate heart for older adults
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
