CNA - NOC SHIFT

Open Shifts:

• NOC: 5pm - 5am

Essential Functions:

• Answers nurse call systems to determine resident needs.
• Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair care, and incontinence care.
• Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating.
• Assists residents with range-of-motion exercises and movement to and from wheelchairs or activity areas.
• Assists residents with turning and positioning in bed.
• Assists residents with ambulation throughout the facility.
• Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output as directed.
• Documents ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets.
• Attends interdisciplinary meetings as needed to provide input into resident care plans.
• Documents restorative services provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Assists facility staff in providing person-centered care based on resident preferences.
• Maintains punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts.
