C.N.A. Resident Care Assistant

The Loft at Linn Memory Care Assisted Living is looking for per diem C.N.As (Certified Nursing Assistants) to join our team. The Loft at Linn Memory Care Assisted Living is a new Memory Care Assisted Living facility located in East Providence, RI.

Our Per diem positions offer you the flexibility to work on the various shifts.

Overview:

The Life Enrichment Associate/Resident Assistant provides a wide range of programs based on a resident’s abilities and interests. This position arranges daily and individual activities that incorporate interaction and cognitive stimulation with a personalized, warm approach. The Resident Assistant provides residents with routine daily care and services including providing assistance during meals, ADLs, and helping to provide for the general comfort and wellness of the residents of the Memory Care Program.

Duties:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents

- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior

- Ensure residents' rights are respected at all times

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans

Education:

Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education.

Qualifications:

Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with laws of the State of Rhode Island

- Experience in long-term care, dementia care is preferred

- Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices

- Ability to lift and move residents when necessary

- Familiarity with home community care, memory care, direct support, or home care services is a plus

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Pay: $23.93- $26.13 per hour
