We’re hiring a caregiver in Aiken, SC to support a young adult who is alert, speaks up for himself, and wants dependable people in his corner. You’ll work with one family, so you’ll know the routine, the home, and the person you’re caring for.
Monday through Friday, 3:00 to 8:30 p.m.
What you’ll do: reheat and serve meals, stay with him while he eats, help with bathroom care, assist with transfers, keep the home tidy, and work alongside his therapist when needed.
Hoyer lift experience is required. We’ll still train you hands on with this home’s ceiling lift before you work alone, and that training is paid.
You’ll be part of a small team, and the family wants people who show up, follow the plan, and speak up when something looks off. Clear written care instructions are provided.

What you’ll do:
Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, you’ll provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home. As a BAYADA HHA / CNA, you’ll have the opportunity to develop close relationships with your clients while you help them with:
- Activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
- Household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
- Meal preparation and feeding
- Range of motion/exercises
- Assisting with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
- Medication reminders
- Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
