We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled CNC Advanced Machinist - 2nd Shift to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be a vital member of our production team, you’ll be responsible for setting up and adjusting a variety of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
- Setting up and operating lathes, cutters, borers, millers, grinders, presses, drills, and CNC machines
- Aligning and positioning tools, gears, cams, and templates to meet exact specifications
- Performing test cycles to verify timing, clearance, and tolerances
- Troubleshooting and resolving machine setup issues
- Making program edits and adjustments directly on CNC machines
- Reading blueprints and layouts to plan work sequences and tooling
- Training and mentoring team members as needed
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives like kaizen and cycle time reduction.
