CNC and Conventional Lathe and Milling Machine Operator

About the role
From IMAN Global Consulting, a Recruitment Consultancy for Technical, Middle, and C-Suite profiles, we are looking for a CNC and Conventional Lathe/Milling Machinist for a company located in Cardedeu, Barcelona.
We are looking for a person with experience in machining, capable of working with both CNC and conventional lathes and milling machines, with autonomy in the preparation and execution of parts.
What you'll do
- Machining of parts using CNC and conventional lathes and milling machines.
- Preparation, adjustment, and setup of machines.
- Programming and modification of CNC programs.
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
- Selection of tools and definition of machining parameters.
- Dimensional control and verification of manufactured parts.
- Production of single units, short series, and work related to our machinery projects.
- Detection and correction of deviations during the machining process.
- Basic maintenance and correct use of machines, tools, and work equipment.
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a lathe/milling machinist.
- Experience with CNC and conventional machinery.
- Knowledge of CNC programming.
- Good level of drawing interpretation.
- Knowledge of cutting tools, tolerances, and metrology.
- Ability to work autonomously in the manufacturing of parts.
- A resourceful, precise person oriented towards quality.
- Training in Machining, Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar is valued.
