As a CNC Lathe Operator, you'll play a vital role in producing high‑quality components that meet exact customer specifications. If you're a hands‑on problem-solver who enjoys precision work and modern machining technology, we'd love to have you on our team.
What You'll Do
- Set up CNC Lathe machines for production runs
- Operate multiple CNC machines efficiently
- Dress and set tools for optimal cutting performance
- Troubleshoot machining issues and reduce non‑conformances
- Notify the Cell Lead when problems arise
- Use calipers, micrometers, and indicators during setups
- Apply basic math to determine and adjust tool offsets
- Read CMM reports to verify part quality and accuracy
- Perform daily 5S (cleaning and organization)
- Complete daily visual machine inspections
- Maintain proper coolant levels
- Assist with additional duties as needed
Education & Knowledge
- GED or High School Diploma required
- 1–3 years manufacturing experience
- Ability to read and perform basic math (8th‑grade level or higher)
Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of manufacturing quality principles
- Familiarity with process controls and instrumentation
- Experience using mechanical inspection tools
- Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
- Good job knowledge with attention to detail
- Ability to follow copy‑exact procedures
- Understanding of OSHA compliance

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
