CNC Lathe Setter and Programmer

About the role
Areajob Spain ETT, a division of the Areajob Group focused on temporary work and talent management, is starting a selection process for a lathe setter/programmer for Sant Cugat.
What you'll do
Setting up and preparing CNC lathes.
Programming machines using ISO/FANUC, Siemens, Mazatrol code, or the corresponding control.
Interpretation of drawings and technical documentation.
Selecting and assembling cutting tools and fixtures.
Defining and adjusting machining parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut, etc.).
Performing format changes and preparing production batches.
Manufacturing first pieces and validating the process.
Dimensional verification using measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, bore gauge, dial indicator, gauges, etc.).
Correcting deviations and optimizing programs to improve cycle times and quality.
Resolving technical issues during production.
Basic preventive maintenance of the machinery.
Complying with quality, safety, and production standards.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in programming complex parts.
- Experience in dimensional verification and control.
- Experience in CNC TC OKUMA, NAKAMURA, MORISEIKI.
- Reading and interpretation of blueprints.
- Education: Vocational Training (CFGM or CFGS) in Mechanical Manufacturing, Production Programming in Mechanical Manufacturing, or similar.
Specific training in CNC programming and machining.

Permanent contract directly with the company.
Intensive afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 10:00 PM): 1 vacancy
Intensive night shift (10:00 PM to 6:00 AM): 1 vacancy
Salary from €30,000 gross per year, negotiable (a machine setup/programming test will first be carried out to establish it based on the candidate's skill/experience).
