CNC Machining Set-up Operator (2nd shift)-OH

Summary

Operates and sets up CNC milling machines, performs machining tasks like grinding, drilling, and inspection, and maintains documentation while adhering to safety protocols.

Hours: Monday through Thursday 2:00pm-12:30am

Starting pay is $20.00/HR-23.00/HR based upon experience.

Responsibilities below:

  • Perform typical machine shop operations including accurate and efficient CNC set up.
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to Machining Supervisor.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
  • Must be able to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding.
  • Perform inspection of machined products (including documentation of results).
  • Complete and maintain paperwork for parts.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math to perform basic calculations, and use basic hand held measuring tools.
  • Must have working command of the English language, and be able to communicate orally (Basic oral instructions.)
  • Perform any and all other duties as assigned.
  • Reports directly to the Machining Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or graduation from certified technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Must have 2 years of experience setting up CNC Milling machines.
  • Must have 2 years of experience operating CNC Milling machines.
  • Must have 2 years of experience using calipers.
  • Must have knowledge of using blueprint reading.
