Pay

Up to $38.00/hour, based on experience and skill level

Shift Options

Day Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Occasional Saturdays

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Additional 10% Shift Differential

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Perform machine changeovers and setup adjustments
• Monitor machining operations and make offset corrections
• Download and manage CNC programs through DNC systems
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
• Monitor tool life and document tool changes
• Maintain quality standards and customer specifications
• Follow company safety procedures and best machining practices

CNC Machinist Levels

Level I

Entry-Level CNC Operator

• 1+ year of CNC machining experience or machining education/training
• Basic understanding of CNC machine operations
• Ability to use calipers and basic measuring tools
• Willingness to learn setups, offsets, and inspections

Level II

CNC Machinist

• 2+ years of CNC machining experience
• Ability to perform basic setups and tool changes
• Read blueprints and work instructions independently
• Experience using precision measurement equipment

Level IV

Senior CNC Machinist

• 7+ years of CNC machining experience
• Expert-level setup and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced blueprint interpretation and GD&T application
• Ability to optimize processes and mentor junior machinists
• Experience in high-precision aerospace or manufacturing environments preferred

Qualifications

• CNC machining experience in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Understanding of G & M Codes
• Experience adjusting offsets and changing cutting tools
• Knowledge of micrometers, calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, indicators, and other inspection equipment
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Lift up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moving machinery and elevated noise levels
• Must wear required PPE
