CNC Machinist

We're seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist who will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts used in fabricated systems and assemblies. This role works closely with shop leadership, welders, fitters, and engineering to ensure parts are produced accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

This is a hands on manufacturing role suited for someone who takes pride in quality work and thrives in a collaborative shop environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to machine components to specification.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and materials appropriate for each job.
• Perform first article and in process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy-article and in-process inspections to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Able to run programs in MDI.
• Maintain machines, tooling, and a clean, safe work area.
• Collaborate with shop supervision and engineering to improve processes and cycle times.
• Support fabrication and assembly teams by delivering accurate, on time machined parts-time machined parts.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
