CNC Machinist / Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Manufacture medical implants and instrumentation using various CNC Lathes.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. CNC Lathe Start-up & Operation.

2. Upload and download CNC Programs utilizing ENET DNC Software.

3. Access necessary programs in order to safely and effectively produce a desired part per print, per Maitland’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) “Limited Electronic Access”.

4. Perform job set-ups, identify and use proper tooling and specialized tooling that may or may not be specified on a job setup sheet or job traveler.

5. Perform 1st Piece Inspection.

6. Make necessary machine offsets as described in SOP 6.8 “Machine Offset Guidelines”.

7. Maintain the proper machine maintenance as specified on a daily basis.
